Peter Hines recently stated that the copy protection in Fallout 3 is "
Pretty similar to what we did for [Elder Scrolls IV:] Oblivion, which was--we basically don't do any--we do the mildest form possible." He also went on to stress that Bethesda agrees that piracy is a large problem for PC gaming, but added that "It's very important for us not to ruin the experience for the person who did buy a copy, so we try to be very careful."
I personally think DRM is a lazy, uncreative, and useless fix to the piracy problem. Companies such as Stardock/Valve have the right idea, releasing content updates for free in order to coerce gamers into purchasing a real copy.
I for one will be buying a copy of Fallout 3, if only to support this stance. What about you? Feel like breaking out the wallet or hitting up piratebay.org yet again?

This is just another great reason to buy Fallout 3, to encourage developers to not put annoying DRM in their games.
I don't see EA releasing entire expansion packs for download (i.e. Knights of the Nine, Shivering Isle)
