Who Put on the Best Show at E3? Not Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo...

...but rather all of you. This year has, in my experience, shown record-low numbers for console wars, fanboy-baiting and general ignorance. Maybe it's the fact that the last few third party exclusives (read: Metal Gear Solid) have gone multiplatform, or maybe because we're all too busy being wrapped up in the excitement of the amazing shows put on by each and every one of the big three, but nobody on the great wide internets seems to be waving a company flag. I've seen far fewer blogs discussing who won and far more describing personal impressions of the awesome announcements made at each show. So everyone, give yourselves a clap on the back and a warm hug, then turn to your neighbour and do the same. We've all realized what's important about our hobby: the games.

I've always thought the notion of someone "winning" E3 is silly, and mostly for console fanboys that enjoy blowing their favourite company's horn.

I've been busy this week and haven't paid close attention to much of the E3 stuff. The upside of this is that I can skip over all the fanboy bickering. I'm very happy to hear that there has been a general decline in this sort of pointless shit anyway.

e3 wasn't so interesting to me i was only excited about metal gear & modern warfare 2 & god of war 3. L4D 2 looks alright
