Are you one of the many people who played Persona 3 last year and proclaimed it the new king of RPGs? Looking forward to the upcoming release of Persona 4 so you can get your social-link dungeon crawl on?
Well, this game is almost nothing like that.
Persona 2: Innocent Sin, the Japan-only prequel to the American-released Persona 2: Eternal Punishment will have a
translation released on October 15th! Though it may be nothing like its years-later successor, it does meld classic RPG gameplay with a myriad of systems and ideas that you've never played before (conversing with demons during battle, for example).
So start up those torrents; you only have 26 days to get those ISOs on your desktops and to warm up your emulators and PSPs. Maybe this year's greatest RPG will actually be 1999's.
P.S. I demand Yojimbo add me on PSN, so that we may "Wipe Out" as they say.
Back to your post... I'm still halfway through Persona 3. You're making me feel bad for my procrastination.
Oh christ...
