So I went to EB today. Not looking for anything, mind you. Just browsing, you know? Walk by and see an EB and think to myself "Hey, I bet I can find a game I want!" or "I wonder if I can get the manager's home number?" Anyways, I walk in, strutting my stuff, and just as I finish my rounds of soliciting the employees for personal information, I notice something.
Not once in this trip have I desired something.
I own every semi-modern console with the exception of the Wii, so when I take a walk around the walls of an EBGames it's assumed I'll see something that interests me. But today, I went by the Xbox 360, Playstation 2, 3 and Gamecube sections without feeling a single pang of temptation.
Oh, certainly I'd be thrilled if I got a copy of Ninja Gaiden 2. But it's never been on my want list. And Heavenly Sword would be something fun to play no doubt, but I'd never planned on buying it. Apparently, every single game on my "DO WANT" list has found its way into my collection (with the exception of some rare older stuff on the SNES and PS1... which is far too expensive to justify).
So now I've got nothing to buy until maybe the release of some Squeenix game(s) in the fall. Oddly enough after two years of Half Lives, Gears and Calls to Duty I'm really not interested in the bevy of sequel shooters hitting this fall. It looks like I've finally caught up on my game buying - which means now it's time to start game playing.
What about the rest of Destructoid? Do you find youselves satisfied with your game collection or must you get oyur grubby paws on every piece of semi-quality swill out there? Consider me curious (but not the sexy kind).

I think my working life (which includes plenty of overtime and commute time) has left me with a healthy backlog of games.
And further, there's at least one or two games that have scores of replay value the give me the itch to dig them up on a fairly annual basis.
Not even Fallout Triple?

Yes. Not Valkyrie Profile. RADIATA STORIES.
Also, I'm addicted to SC4 right now, so I'm not finding myself bored.
We got a Game & Watch system in the store and I'm dying to buy it, though $45 is a bit pricey...
Of course, you can't tell me you aren't looking forward to Left 4 Dead. Come on...
I'm sort of retarded, you see. I've never really liked zombie movies, and beyond the fact that in L4D zombies appear to magically appear in different places, I haven't seen much to attract me to the game.
I played some of MGS4, not for very long mind you, and I thought it was just you're average game. Reminded me of kind of a one man Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (the only one I've played) with more stealth. Keep in mind when I said that I didn't play for very long, it was less than 5 minutes. So I can't really talk, it's just a first impression.
