Dude, edit your title so it says, "And the gamers who play them" at the beginning.
Thanks, fixed?
Close. Remove "March Monthly Musings" and the ellipses and you're golden.
You might want to add a picture as well. It would make the blog look finished.
Thanks for the help, working on it.
Nice first blog, dude.
Good Stuff. I used to be a hater, now I can play on hard ^_^
Rockband FTW
I didn't like Rhythm Games because it usually were one-trick pony's. Guitar Hero and Rock Band reignited the genre with downloadable content and awesome peripherals.
"Next time you see this person playing Madden or Halo, ask them why they don't go join the NFL or Marines and watch them eat their own foot sandwich."
You win.
its true, these people are odd...my moment with one of these types happened at a local bestbuy as I was trying out GH3 before purchase
to set the scene, Im playing My name is Jonas on expert.
Random dude: why would you play this that much to get good at it
me: its fun
Random dude: why dont you just play a real guitar and not video games you idiot.
me(annoyed): what games do you play?
Random dude: I play shooters
me: why dont you play a real guitar.
Random dude: *walks away owned*
"Why don't you guys learn to play real guitar?!!??!"
I'd answer i'm thinking about it, I mean I can beat Guitar Hero on expert that must mean I could walk into guitar center right now and play Freebird right? right? Kidding of course, but I've been seriously contemplating learning the real thing, and I understand that however good I may or may not be at Guitar Hero/Rock Band translates into roughly jack shit when it comes to playing a real guitar, but if all those backwoods rednecks on country radio can learn, why can't I?
Lol at come-backs from Orangehat and DaTgUy. I remember reading a story on 4chan about some guy playing 'One' at a party, on gh3. Then some drunk asshole says 'bet you cant play it for real' or something. The guy went to his room, got out his guitar, and played One for real...
I've been playing drums for over a decade, have performed with bands, and still have love for GH and RB.
DDR on the other hand....
Good first blog. Welcome to Dtoid, and keep up the good work. :)
heh thanks for the welcome, but I've been around a while. Mostly on the forums, and entirely here
