My first year of college classes starts next week. Also, I got fired from my job, leaving me broke.
The two of those combined fucks me over pretty badly.
I just started my first year of law school, and the combined factors of the absurd workload and the $42,000 tuition (plus the cost of living in NYC) not only prevent me from attending PAX, but from purchasing and playing video games at all.

I'm a 16 year old Canadian with stingy parents, no job, school starts on Wednesday, my baby nephew almost died two weeks ago and I've been afraid of his life since, I'm afraid of commitment, I may have killed a kitten once, I thought I saw a ghost last week it was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life, I finally found the game I've been looking for for so long sealed for $12 and it gets sold before I have the chance to buy it, one of my fist got caught in the tank filter and died and all the other fishes were eating him while his head was stuck in said filter, it was a grisly sight and I was the one who had to take it out, I went on vacation a year ago to see my grandma and she didn't know who I was because of her Alzheimer's and it was the first time I saw my mom cry, and coonskin's gay. THAT'S WHY I'M NOT GOING

But yeah, I'm 17, have school, no transportation/munniez, I have no munniez, and I have no munniez. I've always wanted swag, lol. XD
My car got stolen and wrecked about two months ago, and I only got $97 back from my insurance after they paid what I owed on the car. So I had to use all my savings to buy a junk car to get me around and then sell my Wii to get it fixed up. I finally found a job, thank god, but I don't start till the 1st, so I found myself still broke come PAX time.
That, and the person who I was staying with had to move this week.
My mother recently got a DUI and needs me to ferry her around town every day, my Grandfather died and I have to attend his funeral, my pet just recently went blind and I have to take care of him, and I'm only seventeen years old.
I have AIDS, 3 forms of cancer, my dog AND grandmother died in the same horrific car crash (driving MY car, no less), my parents think I'm a failure, my girlfriend just dumped me, and I'm a horrible, horrible liar.

The lady friend and I had been planning on going to PAX since back when they started selling passes in January I think it was.
Turns out, we're some broke ass college students. I had to take a job that requires me to work weekends and she's taking some ridiculous 21+ credits with 4 labs.
In other words, no PAX for us :(
