Today is my 16th birthday.
Yay, sweet 16 whoo I can do some things I couldn't do blah blah blah. After reading how
Aertyr's birthday went, I'd like to share to you how my birthday was completely disappointing.
My school had a death threat on Friday dated for March 24th, so students weren't obligated to go to school today. Honestly it just gave me an excuse to stay home on my birthday, and I was excited for what fantastic adventures that would occur on my 16th birthday.
Shit all happened. No bill & ted adventures, hard partying, hell not even a cake was present. Didn't get any gifts, friend's didn't even know it was my birthday (therefore didn't show up) and family wished me a happy birthday and went on to do activities of their own.
I spent all day playing 360 (got boring quick) and popping in and out of IRC trying to find something that would be mildly different. Besides Coon's extremely homosexual blog it was an absolutely average day, and I fail to see what's so sweet about turning 16.
So here I sit, drinking Coke and eating a 1 pound chocolate bunny I got for easter typing about my less than stellar day in my room which for some reason is extremely hot right now. I'm sweating. Gross.
So Aertyr, I am jealous of your birfdai.

Seriously, though, I’m sorry to hear that your birthday didn’t turn out to be all that awesome. I’ve found that, as I’ve gotten older, birthdays tend to just be “one more day in the life” — nothing special, really. But there’s still time! March 24th has over an hour left in it (at least on the East Coast).
Typically I would say get ripped and revel in your debauchery but instead I'm compelled to tell you your past your bedtime..get in bed NOW!! It's past your bedtime.

I can apply for my beginners but then I have to wait 9 more months to be able to drive.
And I'm not incredibly sad, just bored until I saw Aertyr's awesome birthday and realized mine was an utter failure.

but i got a car, and that made it into an adventure.
but that car drove me to work, which quickly became old until i got all my friends to work there. and for a year and 9 months, i worked away my youth at mcdonalds.
and it was, for some fudged up reason, one of the best jobs ever..now i work at a hospital, so shit got alot better.
