You're preaching to the choir here.
If you only have a PS3, then "ODST is a ripoff".
If you have a 360, you have an 80% chance of liking Halo, and will like this.
I'd buy it if Beatles Rock Band didn't need to be purchased, and Uncharted 2 wasn't coming out so soon.
Thats the thing. The people ODST caters to are the people loved Halo 3 and if you loved Halo 3 chances are you played the multiplayer and if you played the multiplayer chances are you at some point had to buy a map pack or two to stay in the better playlists.
Its suspect, but I guess if you like it you don't mind.
Very true. I guess I'm "lucky" in that I didn't buy those map packs. So for me, I fall into the reasonable camp. I really kind of doubt I'd be getting it so soon if I had bought those maps.
Or you could buy it from Toys R Us, get $20 off, and a free mcfarlane halo ODST action figure ($12 value).
UNREASONABLE!
I didn't get any of the map packs cause my 360 was broken for a long time, so yeah ODST with the toys r us giftcard things is an amazing value in my eyes.
