I can't see that happening, they're probably just toying with the idea. I imagine the patent is just so that should the opportunity arise (to enter the computer market) their idea isn't stolen or something.
You are probably right, but I can still dream.
Imagine if that computer was made out of Nintendium. Then I would never have to worry about breaking anything on it if I ever want to open it and tinker around with the insides. It'd be a dream for a tech geek like me come true.

Hah, given how crappy the Wii is from a hardware/functionality perspective I wouldn't use a Nintendo built PC if they paid me.
Why bother doing this? They don't need to dive in to other markets.
I agree with Kyousuke. As much as the idea of a Nintendo-made computer intrigues me, it really isn't necessary. Nintendo should stay where they know what's up instead of risking a ton of money in a totally different market.
Then again, it worked for Microsoft if the opposite direction, so who knows.
