So lately I find myself becoming very very A.D.D when it comes to games. I can not really find a game that really holds my interest for long. I only played WoW for like 2 months before i was completely burned out on it. I recently bought an xbox 360 and I played it HARDCORE for like 1 week and now I haven't even left the dashboard for like 3 days.
I remember when I was little I would play the same game for months, and now I lose interest in a game after like a week or 2....sometimes less. I am constantly playing different games, CONSTANTLY, i have roughly 10 games on my computer that I play all at the same time throughout the week and then I have console games I play too.
ONE GAME IS NOT ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I seriously miss the days when I could pop in Legend of Legia for PS1 and play for hours, back when I actually cared enough about the storyline of a game to buy the strategy guide. Final Fantasy 7 took me months to beat but I played that damned game a little bit EVERYDAY!
Am I a ADD gamer or have games become..."less storyline" and only graphic driven.
I don't consider myself an ADD gamer, I just crave variety.
Now they just run out of the goods or come up short on the storyline where you just don't care about completing it
it happens
hell its happens to me hence why i still have some game in there original packaging
I played gta IV a ton the first 5 days, i must be close to finishing... why i dont just go back to it, i dont know.
of course i will eventually come back to it and beat it but i will play tons and tons of other games before i come back and play like the last 10 minutes haha
I mean, I even finished Kane and Lynch ffs.
Call of Duty 4 I really just didn't like. I only got to that mission where you first use greenvision and was just totally put off the whole game; it had thus failed to impress. (note: I say greenvision because it is NOT nightvision. It just turns everything green)
but i am looking forward to star wars force unleashed
I have an unhealthy obsession with that game. That is very very story driven, and the plot is actually pretty good compared to the vast numbers of games churned out these days
I understand arguments that every now and again the fighting can seem repetative, but if you haven't played it before maybe you could check it out.
like some people are like I LOVE IT and others are I HATE IT
I guess I'm fickle...
I buy games faster than I can beat them and I swap them back and forth like slutty 10x quintuplet's.... Last game I played that I actually sat down and never touched another game was Uncharted.
Still haven't beaten Bioshock fucking Atlas is Fontain bullshit, thanks..lol
Rotate your game selection but stick to 4 or 5 until you beat 'em and don't add anything new to your library. Or join Gamefly and feed your ADD ways.
