So I just earned somewhere around 1500 points on goozex this evening (1000 for Suikoden and another 500 for Rock band 1 Disc) and I was wondering if anyone had some game suggestions. And yes I know forums are that way------> , but they're still down.
And I know Suikoden is a classic, but for 1000 points to me it was worth it. I know nothing on that site is a guarantee so I'd like to have a large list of things picked out in my mind ahead of time. I'd really like to get some rpgs and plaformers that I missed out on last generation, preferably for the ps1/2. Some things on my mind already: Xenosaga 1-3 Dragonquest 8 Star Ocean 3 Okami Ico SotC Thanks in advance. I also hought that this should be shared, because I found it rather entertaining.

Dragon Quest 8.
Xenosaga 1-3 (I'm assuming they're the same price as the singular games as you listed them together)

In that order. I know SoTC is a cult classic (Undeservedly imo), but you'll get more (and better imo) gameplay from DQ8 than you ever will from SoTC, the same goes for Xenosaga 1-3. I liked SoTC, but it's only about a 8/10. Where as XS is 3 games, and DQ8 is probs the best Old School style RPG on the PS2.
Dragonquest 8 is 200
and SotC is 350
so that's a total of 1300 for 5 games
So yeah.
I'd only spring for a Xenosaga if I was going to get all 3. so if you're not gunna maybe
DQ8, SotC and Ico are good choices. Especially as SotC and Ico will have increasingly greater re-sale value in the future.

Sorry, for some reason I pretty much skipped over every platformer from this era and only played one or two RPGs. Have you tried Disgaea?
I recommend Okami, Ico, and SotC
