About Me
My name is Dave, I'm 23 and after a rather unfortunate turn of events my employer had to close their doors (Go Economy). I've been playing video games now for about 17 years. I started playing games on my fathers Atari 2600 and was hooked from there on out. I think my favorite system would be the Snes, because it had what I will probably always consider to be the greatest library of games. As far as games go I'll play pretty much anything once, but I'm especially fond of Rpgs, Strategy Rpgs, 2D fighters, and Platformers.

Quest for the 20Gig PS3 (Kind of VGR)

It's been a while since I've posted a comment or blog on Dtoid, but I finally have Internet access again. Not to much has happened in my life lately except trying to get a fully backwards compatible PS3. I had started playing persona 4 and was around 4.5 hours into the game but when I couldn't see which rooms I was entering, and where I was going I became extremely frustrated. About a week and a half later my wife and I were in the local K-Mart, and to my surprise they had two 20 gig PS3's. Now I know that the text not showing to some may seem like it wouldn't be a big deal, and I could just as easily get a PS2, but I'm really picky when it comes to things like that.

My wife, being the wonderful woman she is, said lets just put one of these on layaway and we can sell the one you have now. So we put a 20gig on layaway, and a few days later put my ps3 up on Ebay with a buy it now price of $350. Auction 1 was riddled with fake bids and people with day old accounts, and after a week we had to re list. Not to mention that buy it now is completely different now than it was used to. When we went to list a second time we decided to alter some of the bidder requirements, but so far things aren't looking to be going so well.

I really hate to ask anyone in the community for money, but I may as well link the auction here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=300305853634

If you guys have any questions just send me a message here or to my wife's Ebay account.

Oh damn, I thought you were selling the 20 gig. Also wow at still finding one of those in the wild. I think only 1/5 of launch models were that, and they were pretty much discontinued right after. I want a backcompat PS3 too =<
