I have a fuck-tonne of arcade roms, mostly fighters, including:
Killer Instincts 1&2 (they are not bad games dammit)
Time Killers
Blood Storm
Every SNK fighter- except the new KoFs that aren't emulated.
All the Street Fighters- Why does everyone hate on the EX series, they are great.
Red Earth
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Primal Rage
All the Mortal Kombats up to 4
Tattoo Assassins (abysmal)
Survival Arts (worse than Tattoo Assassins)
and the list goes on.
Trouble is I had been using a 5 year old pc gamepad that was well and truly past it's used by date. The d-pad was coming loose and would pop out on its own, mid fucking fight. The down button, the little plastic depressor bit beneath the d-pad, had come off and I had to gingerly rest it back in there making any hadou like motions or ducking, a gamble. It was also held together with tape and smelled of my cats urine which was an annoying and apparently unfixable problem.
So today was payday and the government of Australia gave my studious self the fortnightly pittance that it does so I thought about remedying this situation. I wandered into my local EB and a friend of mine was working there, he sold me a fifty dollar logitec dual action, basically a PS2 controller, for 25 Earth money. Neat.
It's great, works a treat, even to the point of knowing what I want to do even after I've had a few and my motor skills degrade.
Anyone know some decent games that this would make good use of?

Dan, the d-pad is fine, I just ran the gauntlet with my games and if I can nail a Spinning Pile Driver from a standing start, the d-pad gets my tick of approval.
