Had lunch with the grandpop’s so figured while down there hit up some stores on the lookout for cheap games. First was K-mart, which was the best store of the day. Walked in and Nick approached me and was super helpful with finding some games. In total, found Final Fantasy X-2 for $5, Full Spectrum Warrior on PS2 for $3, Shadow of the Colossus (the black label) for $19, and Prey for Xbox 360 for $7. I'll be keeping X2 as I never owned a copy of it, I'll use FSW for trade fodder, Shadow of the Colossus is a CLASSIC and everyone should own a copy and figured pick up Prey since it was only $7, and $7 for an xbox 360 game is pretty good. Kmart over the last few years has always been a great place to check at least once a month for older game mark downs. You can NOT go by the sticker price, you really have to grab the games you like and scan em, or bother the hell out of the sales person if you can ever find one.

Kmart was a HUGH success, on a high I figured let me check Bestbuy and Sears. Neither turned up any good finds other than a quarter in the door well of Sears. The next store, Target, was a very good “flip” find. Picked up 4 copies of Folklore for PS3 at $14.98 each. What I mean by flip is buy it cheap then return to somewhere else for money or profit. Selling one to my buddy for $16, and sold one on Ebay for $30 within 10 minutes of posting it, the other 2 I’m going to try and return to a store for store credit.


If you're not aware, Best Buy allows 3 returns a year with NO reciept, just need a drivers license. Walmart the same deal although I'm not sure what their limit is, and Kmart depends on who you deal with as I've been successful and also told "no!". Earlier in the year, returning 4 halo 3 legendary editions to BestBuy paid for my xbox elite and rock band. You just need to be on the look out for flips. Hope this helps bring a little light to always be on the lookout for something good, even if it is old as hell doesn't mean it's not good.
