So I finagled a copy of the new Radiohead album "In Rainbows" last night, so I thought I'd let the Dtoid bitches know what I think of it and see if the rest of you have heard it. Let me first say that I hate Pablo Honey and The Bends. If this pisses you off, lick me...and I'm sure the more hardcore Radiohead fans have hit the back button by now anyway. Now that the nerds are done away with I have to say I dig this one. "Hail to the Thief" is my favorite album of theirs and this one follows it nicely. Its a little my upbeat and brighter compared to most of their junk, but it still sounds like Radiohead....Also, a shit-ton of strings in this one. Also,... you know the rest
while I must disagree with your dislike of "bends" I understand everyone is different. I haven't heard this newest one but plan and snaggin a copy sometime. If you like the feel of Hail to the Thief check out Thom Yorke's Solo effort
I think it sounds a lot like Ok Computer. Extremely laid back but in a good way and not so heavy on the synths this time. I thought it was pretty good but not as good as Hail to the Thief (which is my favorite as well).
Pablo Honey does suck, but the Bends is pretty good. The new record is awesome, just awesome. I think it's their best since Kid A. Really easy on the old eardrums.
I have to disagree and say that it sounds very little like OK Computer. There seem to be a couple of decent tracks but it is a bit of a snooze-fest in sections.
I downloaded teh new album last night and i love it. I wouldn't say that I am a huge Radiohead fan compared so some people that i know, but overall I really really enjoy their music. And this new album is fucking amazing.
Amnesiac is my favorite Radio Head Album. I have been listening to their new album and I am enjoying it, but I think I might be all Yorked out. I listened to Tom York's solo album for a good chunk of the summer and it sounds very similar to their new album (this in no way is a bad thing) but I need to clean the palette and come back to it to really appreciate it.

Now you ask yourself, "What the hell is a TurboDick Megafucker?" This isnt something that can easily described with words and is much more easily explained via math equation:
The Milky Way Galaxy < My Penis < The Universe
Oh, and i hope to very soon accomplish my dream of having sex while playing Battletoads for the original NES.

I love it, not the biggest an until last summer. Sitting in a dark room, tired and cold, listening to Radiohead is awesome.
Very true, its a cold weather and coffee type of band. I've been listening to it while molesting Portal.
