High FPS gives me motion sickness after some 10 or so minutes.
Thus I am an anti FPS whore.
Try moving your monitor back a bit, that might help.
all the HL2 and source games make me feel ill because the character moves so smoothly. the camera doesn't bounce when the character walks.
HL2 messes with me, while Halo 3 doesn't.
GTA on the other hand... that's odd.
i dont know wtf it is about gta that does it... and yeah, i have zero issues with halo games
Hmmm. Maybe try not being poor. Only poor people get motion sick. Kidding. You need a point of reference in the real world. It sucks because it's a game breaker, but you need to have an easily seen object that you can notice with your peripheral vision while playing. It's the same principle as staring at the horizon while your on a boat.
I know a guy at work who can't play FPS games because it makes him sick. I feel really bad for the guy since he's missing out on so many great titles.
I honestly think it's a rare thing among gamers. Maybe try taking those pills they give for boat sickness.
lol for a few years i found these things call "sea bands" which put these pressure points on your wrists, they worked good sometimes...
and you know your a hardcore gamer when you take drugs so you can play a game
