JIgglypuff, Lucario, and Ness confirmed for Brawl
skyler 40 comments

on the Japanese "how to play" video, around 4 minutes and 21 seconds, it shows the sticker book. As we know now, in the SSE, you can power up your characters by placing stickers on the bottom of their trophy. around 4:21, a sticker of groudon is highlighted, and it shows what characters can use it in the SSE adventure mode. You can clearly see Jigglypuff and Lucario in the bottom right hand corner.in the next screen, a sticker from Mother series is highlighted, and you can see ness and lucas. This doesnt bode well for Mewtwo, as he is absent from the screen when the groudon sticker is highlighted.

After further investigation...

FAKE.

Thank you for finding this! Now I just need confirmation of Captain Falcon (pretty much confirmed) and Luigi (he has to be there, right?), and I'll be happy about returning characters.

Wait, never mind that. Skyler's got it right. It is in the Japanese video.

This one is different than the one I've seen, though.
skyler's Destructoid Blog
yeah i think its a new version of the same video released after the sticker update or something. i cant think of any other explanation.
NihonTiger90's Destructoid Blog
I can all but confirm 100% that this is from the Japanese site, and is not fake in any way.

The reason I thought it was fake is that there is another version of the video that does not have the text at the bottom or the pictures.

@skyler: Or they might have been trying to cover their tracks.

Wow...if true this is some fine matlocking
B-Radicate's Destructoid Blog
Wow. Very nice. Me likey.

However, this make me worried that not all stickers will be able to be used by all combatants, which is dumb in my opinion. I think I can handle exclusive stickers, though, if it really means all of these characters will show up.

Good job.

There are screen shots from Smash that indicate characters pictures do appear when you highlight a sticker. Those are from the official Dojo page, so the fact that thos epics appear don't mean it's not true.

Ha, they went back and removed the icons from the japanese video. I saw them with my own eyes before they did though. From what I hear, the credit goes to Edible from gfaqs. http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=928518&topic=40906054
