I was raised on the Commodore and 386 computers, and then Sega Genesis. Thus my gaming identity was formed by a steady diet of Shareware(one word: Apogee), floppy disks, and rented Genesis games.

From there I went into the pupae stage with the Saturn and Nintendo 64, emerging from my cocoon with an Xbox.

These days, my time is spent on my 360 and Dreamcast. My PSP mostly finds use as an awkward mp3 player.

I work in advertising in NYC. As a graduate of PSU, when I'm not playing games or murdering vagrants, I'm following college football(JoePa is my religion)

So Sunday's Mega Woot videogame comedy show was a success.

As I mentioned before, I did standup and performed my Xbox Live sketch in between various gaming competitions.

Here's the standup:

At the end there I guess I overestimated the audience's understanding of Call of Duty's perks system. They aren't as knowledgeable as us around these parts. But I'm pleased with the overall response, considering it was only the second time I've done standup.

I also want to point out that our very own Bulletmagnet was in attendance! Thanks for coming out man, it was great to meet a fellow Dtoider in the flesh. No homo.

I'll be sure to post any more stuff I do if there's interest.

I larfed. And I do not larf a lot.

It's interesting to see video game related standup. It's a testament to the ever-evolving nature of the hobby when there is a legitimate audience for this kind of entertainment. Very cool.
