I've moaned and groaned about the Wii and how I may or may not like motion controls, but in all honesty Zelda and Mario still remain awesome games. Its also no surprise that many gamers with their Wiis (not all gamers, as some would argue) are worried about future titles (excluding BRAWL, which should have been out months ago). Mario Galaxy has a quality that just screams Nintendo all over it, from all aspects. In fact it fought with Ocarina of Time for highest rated game of all time, but fell to second. Such a fantastic game does show the Wii has housing for amazing things, but this also poses a problem.
After playing Mario Galaxy I found myself wondering, when will I get an experience like this on the Wii again? Super Smash Bros Brawl will definitely bring the same amount of joy, but I'm talking about a future title that hasn't been revealed yet. Everyone is aware that Nintendo pretty much releases one big title from each franchise of Mario and Zelda and Super Smash to each of their consoles, so there won't be much hope for another Zelda adventure let alone a Mario one.
With the recent advent of realization that 3rd party games are rather crappy, who will produce a game for the Wii that could remotely match Mario Galaxy's quality? Rumours have spread that a Call of Duty 5 may grace the Wii, however that would require Infinity Ward to... take a step back from Call of Duty 4. Resident Evil 5 looks awfully bleak when considering it also on the Wii.
What do you guys think? I'm just curious as I ponder the future of the Wii.

Considering how well RE4 sold on the Wii and Umbrella Chronicles, RE5 on the Wii isn't THAT big of a stretch...Or maybe I'm just hoping...
Once third party developers learn enough restraint to sit back and learn where motion controls can genuinely improve a game and where the motion controls can be relevant to the gameplay the output will improve dramatically. No More Heroes has already demonstrated that it is possible and if developers realise that motion controls aren't mandatory we could see some more greatness.
I do think the Wii's greatest game will come from Nintendo though, its been true for every Nintendo console so far and it will be again.
That said, I've not even ever played SMG, so I should keep my mouth shut ;).
Monster Hunter Freedom 3 (such a fucking epic series), Pikmin 3, Mario Kart Wii, Winning Eleven Soccer (controls look amazing), Bob Ross: The Joy of Painting (system seller alone), Iron Chef, Baroque, Animal Crossing Wii, Star of Kirby, Disaster:Day of Crisis, Sadness (it exists in our minds at least), Project H.A.M.M.E.R. (bring this back into development nintendo, don't be stupid), Rock Band, Castle of Shikigami 3, Mushroom Men, Okami (port), Obscure 2, Tales of Symphonia:Knight of Ratatosk (hell yea!) and Worms:A Space Oddity.
A lot of these are exclusives or just for one or two systems including the wii itself. This BARELY even scratches the surface, especially with all the interesting looking games with not much info on them at the moment. Sure some of these could suck, or disappoint, but the potential is definitely there. Not to mention the WiiWare service is gonna pop out some pretty good games.
I dont like super smash bros. series so much, so I will probably stick to the "when Mario Kart for the Wii comes out"
