Well another Wednesday Night Whatever is upon us. So that means it’s time to once again figure out what we’re going to do with our evening in order to avoid contact with our friends and loved ones. I’m still ironing out the exact detail of how this theme day if going to work. For the most part which game we play is still entirely up to you guys, I want to leave it up to the community to decide what you want to do. On certain days however I’ll pick out a game that I really want to get some time in on and we’ll roll with that instead. Essentially I will occasionally put the kibosh on our little faux-democracy and seize full authoritarian rule in order to do thing that I enjoy. Well, that’s not entirely true the people who don’t own/don’t want my choice of game can still vote on what they want to play instead.
I’ll try to keep from taking full control most of the time, instead saving it for special occasions. Say tonight for example. I’ve been putting some time lately into Hot Shots Golf and I’m jonesing to hit the links or I guess more accurately I’m jonesing to hit the trees. So I encourage anyone that owns this charming little arcade golf game to throw on your ugly golf pants and polo shirt and join me for a few rounds on the back nine. We can sip cocktails and discuss politics, the stock market, and how we can keep those filthy minorities out of our country club.
We’ll be tearing up the green for an hour or so before we drunkenly stumble back to our mansions. In the mean time you guys need to figure out what you want to do during and after Hot Shots Golf. You can punch hooks in GTA IV, punch the throttle in Burnout Paradise, or punch each other in Tekken 5. There are many options to consider and our choices are only limited to your imagination… and the actual library of games. As much as I’d love to play Vespa Death Racer 2000 I’ve come to terms with the fact that my time with that game us nothing but a dream, a wonderful, wonderful dream.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that this all starts at 8PM EDT, just like always.

When the NBA playoffs are over, I will return to the Wednesday night festivities. Even though I never speak and have no communication with you, it has been a pleasure getting killed by you fine people. I miss you guys....

Well, hopefully someone will want to play WarHawk eventually. If not, looks like it'll be back to my 360 to play CoD4 or GTA. SEE WHAT YOU'RE DRIVING ME TO, PEOPLE?

I'm new to this PS3 thing, and while I'm sure you were all busy playing Haze Shots Golf: Dark Resurrection of Rock Band Auto 4 and negelecting Warhawk, how do you set up games and what not? I didn't see any handy "send invite" buttons as in Live. Do you *gasp* actually have to chat with people and pre-arrange crap?
