Y0j1mb0’s too busy today to put up the FNF post but don’t you worry true believers, I’ve got you covered. Tonight we see the return of a couple of racing games that used to be a part of the lineup. So hop on, get a new balm, get a tight tension on, slip it up until the rust gets gone, and feel it with the hot mind on.




8PM EST: WipEout HD Host: nademagnet(PSN: nademagnet)

The speed, the excitement, the instrumental version of Firestarter, this game has it all. You can take your F-Zero and cram it right up your ass, this is how I roll. Nademagnet will be running a few six track tournaments followed by one massive 12 track beast to top it all off. So if you have the need for speed give this game a whirl. Also, if you don’t race as Auricom then you hate America.


8PM EST: Burnout Paradise Host: IronPikeman(PSN: IronPikeman)

If you prefer your cars with wheels then you can hang with IronPikeman. Drive recklessly through the streets of Paradise City destroying public property and endangering the lives of the citizens. This is a good opportunity to brush up on your driving skills before the classic car pack comes out. You don’t want to embarrass yourself in front of Egon or Doc Brown do you?


9PM EST: Call of Duty World at War. Host: Jack of No Trades(PSN: JackofNoTrades85)

When you get tired of racing you can sit back and shoot some Nazis with Jack of No Trades. Ah Nazis, video game cannon fodder of choice since 1992. I’m not sure why, what’s they ever do to deserve that? Oh yeah, right… never mind carry on.


10PM EST: Resistance 2. Hosts: Kami (PSN: ponyboykami) and/or shipero (PSN: Shipero)

Join Kami and myself for some Resistance 2 co-op to fight back those filthy, godless Chimera and take back America (and maybe Brittan and Iceland if we have time). If ideals like liberty and freedom don’t appeal to you then you can just join us to get some of that sweet, sweet grey tech.


12PM EST: SOCOM: Confrontation Hosts: SantanaClaus89(PSN: Moosehole) and y0j1mb0 (PSN: k0wb0y-b33b0p)

This game has really been gaining popularity since they released the “Stop Sucking” patch. Now that the game’s actually playable join y0j1mb0 and SantanaClaus89 for a few rounds of pulse pounding tactical action. While you’re there why not join the Destructoid clan? Then you too can know the simple pleasure of stabbing IronPikeman in the back.



Then, of course, there’s LittleBigPlanet. Since the small group sizes make it difficult to set up hosts too far in advance this is a great go-to game when you don’t feel like playing one of the others. Form your own group or take off on your own and explore some of the levels that your fellow dtoiders have made.
