Let's see, I started out w/ a Colecovision back in the early 80s and moved up to Nintendo when that came out. I was the first kid on my block to learn about the SNES because I was the only kid who actually read the whole magazine. I picked up that machine at launch and soon got a Genesis as well. I lost touch for a while when I was in Military School for five years (that's fucking hardcore). In college I picked up the PS1 and amassed the greatest collection of fighting games ever assembled. Then I got the PS2 at launch. Three days later - my birthday actually - the PS2 and all of the games were stolen. It took me a few years to recover but today I've got everything but the PS3, because it's too fucking expensive.
It's a good thing I've got all these systems because I run a website
Amish Otaku for the gamers. It's small but growing. We're not trying to compete w/ the Destructoid lads but they are an inspiration at least. Check us out, I promise it's only going to get better. Hmm, that makes it sound like it's shitty now, oh well. I'm tired of writing.
