It's a hardware problem they've known about since Japan, but there's nothing they could have done to the game for it. It's because it's the only DVD9 game on the system, and if the system is dirty, it will have issues reading that.
Yes it sucks, but you're an idiot if you think it's something they could have "fixed".
mine works fine. though i'm just trying to play it now. Now that all that nonsense of a hype is pretty much over with.
If you're in Nintendo's callcenter right now, I'd say you'll be hearing a fair bit of bitching. I know I only stayed there 3 days...
I underestimated the power of tar.
I'm more concerned with the rate at which this is happening. Hopefully it's pretty low; my Wii is always in a pretty open area...
That's just funny.
Hmmm this was pretty much expected considering this is the first DVD9 game on the system.
I do hope my Wii runs the game without a problem though! ;o
Ron, be gentle. For a lot of Nintendo fanboys, it will be their first time experiencing a console hardware failure. Maybe you can show them the ropes.
Now i'm more interested in getting brawl soon to see if I'll have that problem or not.
haha kudos to Ron and MaxVest.
But seriously, what if the Wii were to glow red at the disc port when it fails? What would we call it?
