Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
How can one make sure if the actual game is even inside, and if you paid over a $1000 for something that is priceless because it is sealed then why would you open it? A double edge sword right there. I could like buy an opened box of the game and get my buddy at the grocery to shrink wrap it. Just a thought about that previous Chrono Tirgger auction.
Well best of luck to ya, you appear hardcore enough to be trusted.
PS: If I had like $200 on me right now I would PM you immediately.
Sevink tells the truth. Real video game collectors know how to spot fakes in these cases (much like any real collector can spot fakes in their hobby). I've purchased sealed games before (River City Ransom is my latest) and require lots of pictures to help me decide if it's legit or not since I can't see it in person.
