I'm a 26 year old gamer living in Texas. I'm a huge RPG nerd with somewhat of a penchant for good FPSs (BF3). I'm also a huge media junkie, though no reality TV. Graduated from college in 2007 and found a job. The extra income is great, but sadly it comes at the expense of having a lot less time to play games/watch TV. I own a 360, PS3, PS2 and Gamecube.

Amazon has updated their picture for the cover of FFIV DS.

Here's the link:

The question is: since its different from the Japanese cover, is it worth it to get both, just to have the oh-so-pretty one?

That US cover seems....eww and seems like a place cover. It doesn't affect my purchase but I don't like that cover if it is the real deal.

@Blindsidedork: I don't know if its a place holder or not, since they used to have another one which specifically said "This is not the real cover" (or something to that effect), so this one might be the genuine final one.

Oh, and I'm not saying it'll affect my decisison to buy it; I definetely will from day one. I was just really hoping that we'd get the cover from the Japanese release. I guess I'll have to buy both to have the game in English, and the pretty cover.

Very minimalist. Kinda like it though. It's not like I sit and stare at my game covers all day, works for me.

My guess is that the black and white part will have that blue foil look underneath it.
