I'm a 26 year old gamer living in Texas. I'm a huge RPG nerd with somewhat of a penchant for good FPSs (BF3). I'm also a huge media junkie, though no reality TV. Graduated from college in 2007 and found a job. The extra income is great, but sadly it comes at the expense of having a lot less time to play games/watch TV. I own a 360, PS3, PS2 and Gamecube.

(NVGR) "Firefly" BluRay on sale at Amazon

I know its NVGR, but I also know a lot people here are Browncoats, so I felt it was my duty to inform you of this Firefly sale.
The Firefly BluRay version is Amazon's deal of the day in the gold box. Its down to $40 from $90.
Heck I don't even own a BluRay player and I bought it (Hope to get a PS3 by Christmas), but I felt the deal was too good to pass by, especially as a loyal Firefly supporter.

Jeez, that's a good deal. I, like you, don't own a Blu-Ray player, but I kinda want to get it anyway. Aren't there exclusive features not on the DVD release? Extra commentaries or something?

I'm actually not sure about the Bonus feeatures and all that stuff. I've enver actually been into all that sort of stuff. Its Firefly, its in HD, and its on sale. Its all I need to know. :)

The bonus features are pretty much the same as the DVD, but with an added cast round table and maybe a couple more commentaries (I don't remember), plus the convenience of having it all on one disc.
Any way, it is a must buy at that price.

I'm not a die-hard fan, hell I haven't even seen every episode, but I liked the episodes I have seen and the movie as well. Having been tempted to nab the DVDs before, I went ahead and took this deal. Too good to pass up, I'd say.
