Great Steam deal!
seigfreid | 12:52 PM on 03.28.2009 6 comments

This deal has me exited. Why? Because I know for a fact that 3 out of the 4 games are extremely fun. The pack includes: Beyond Good and Evil. Which I have never played but have heard so many good things about. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, which is also really fun (according to me) it got low scores but nevertheless it's lots of fun to perform stealth kills in that game. Far Cry, which is also really good. Only played about an hour of it because I never actually owned the game, but the time I did spend with it was awesome. The last game is IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, which I know absolutely nothing about at all. The great part about this deal is how cheap it is. It's only 9.99 and you get some pretty amazing games. Even if you aren't interested in any of the other games get it for Beyond Good and Evil.

You can find the deal Here. All the games are made by Ubisoft. I highly suggest you grab this while you can.

I have Beyond Good and Evil and Farcry through Gametap, but I'm tempted to buy them anyways so I can play them if my Gametap subscription ever lapses.

Steam is just too awesome. I wish I had money to thank them with.

GOG.com just put Beyond Good and Evil up for $10 alone. This deal is insanium in the cranium!

IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 is a hard core combat flight sim. It's essentially the only game left in a dead genre. As much as I want to love IL-2, it's just too much of a simulator and too little of an actual game. I miss the days of Chuck Yeager's Flight Sim.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
