River City series returns! NA release for two games announced.

I'm sure many of my fellow D-toiders have fond memories of River City Ransom for the NES. The series is a big deal in Japan, but in the West, we haven't gotten much outside of the Super Dodgeball series and a GBA remake of River City Ransom.

Well, no more! Aksys has announced that two games in the series will be coming to America. River City Super Sports Challenge and River City Hooligan Soccer are both to be released for the Nintendo DS.

Super Sports Challenge provides the player with a variety of track and field events while Hooligan Soccer features, of course, soccer. Both games will involve super moves and dangerous terrain, which is par for the course for the series.
