About Me
Gaming it's a great hobby what can I say? I enjoy a lot of games, I even enjoy games that a lot people would never even go near. I do have some favorites though, my favorite genres are Music and Fighting games. So I like Rock Band, Dead or Alive, Frequency, Soul Calibur, Gitaroo Man and Virtua Fighter. Of course I like many other games in each genre but those are just some examples.

And of course if you haven't already, you really should play Deus Ex.

Anything else about me? Well I have a passion for music. I listen to everything but I primarily listen to Metal.

Currently Playing:
Army of Two (360)
Front Lines: Fuel of War (360)
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (PC)
The Witcher
Unreal Tournament III (PC)

Yesterday I got an unexpected check in the mail with some extra spending money, no complaints from me especially since I get to buy Lost Odyssey sooner then expected.

I started the game last night and like many others I am enjoying the game thus far despite the fact that it is kicking my ass at the moment. Also like most other's the game does remind me of Final Fantasy straight down to the menu to system (if only you could change the color of the menu, then it would remind me even more of Final Fantasy).

I am not very far into the game for sleep deprivation got the best of me but one thing that made me laugh in the game is the dream sequences. They are very well written and give interesting tidbits of Kaim's past but I just can't help but be reminded of Power Point when I watch them. They remind me of middle school when fellow students would use every effect they could for their presentation.

I can't wait to get back in the game though and this time I am bringing a cup of coffee with me.

POWER POINT! That's exactly what I said when I saw them.

Get that coffee... I did.

The game looks good, but I wouldn't rush out for a 360 to play it. Plus I saw it has like 4-5 discs, how can it be that long and only have like power point memory sequences?

shmelo, the recovered dream sequences are only a fraction of a percent of the story. Everything else is massive in game cinematics, and the generous dabbing of fmv, for one epic story telling.

Yeah, it did kind of make me think of powerpoint in parts, but I do like some of the more well thought out parts, like where the "tear" falls like a teardrop. DEEP!

In all seriousness, it does make it a little more interesting on the ol' eyes when watching the dream sequences, and they are definitely very well written, even if the translation feels awkward at points.
