About Me
Gaming it's a great hobby what can I say? I enjoy a lot of games, I even enjoy games that a lot people would never even go near. I do have some favorites though, my favorite genres are Music and Fighting games. So I like Rock Band, Dead or Alive, Frequency, Soul Calibur, Gitaroo Man and Virtua Fighter. Of course I like many other games in each genre but those are just some examples.

And of course if you haven't already, you really should play Deus Ex.

Anything else about me? Well I have a passion for music. I listen to everything but I primarily listen to Metal.

Currently Playing:
Army of Two (360)
Front Lines: Fuel of War (360)
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (PC)
The Witcher
Unreal Tournament III (PC)

First Impressions: Frontlines: Fuel of War

A lot of gaming came from an unexpected purchase of a game this night and that game is Frontlines: Fuel of War. My roommate picked up the game the other day and I watched him play it for a while and I must say that, along with the demo, didn't really make me interested in the game. None the less my roommate kept on insisting that I purchase this game.

So I caved in and went out to get a copy of Frontlines and immediately hopped online. Now when I say immediately I mean spend 15 minutes trying to find a game that both my roommate and I can join for there is no party system (yes I'm spoiled on Call of Duty 4) and for whatever reason it is hard to connect to servers.

After finally joining a server and playing a few rounds, I started to get a feel for the game. I found it to be like Battlefield with RC cars and helicopters (which are really fun to use I might add). Since the official servers only played one map I had to jump from server to server. This became rather discouraging after a while so I decided to give the single player a try.

The single player actually helped me get into the game a lot and I started to have a lot of fun with it. After a few missions I decided to hop back online and play a few matches and of course a few turned out to be a late night of gaming.

All in all I am happy with my purchase it only took a few hours to realize it. I just hope that the fun lasts and that they patch the game soon.

On a side not this game is good for achievement whores, I managed to get 455 points just from playing one night.

Hmmm.... glad that I won this instead of paying for it. Nothing against you, but the demo really made me not so interested in it.

I'm really not interested. Even though there aren't many shooters coming out this year, I'll wait for Left 4 Dead and Far Cry 2.

@Eschatos
I can't wait until Left 4 Dead comes out, is there a release date?

I think you can substitute not having a party system for dedicated servers.
