Not my Turning Point gaming rig

This is Emily2.
She was named after my then-girlfriend, now wife.
I built her.
She is:

Thermaltake Armor Case
OCZ GameXstream 700 watt power supply
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
AMD FX-55 San Diego Core CPU
ZALMAN 9500A CPU Cooler
2 gb OCZ DDR400 CAS-2 RAM
MSI Nvidia 7950 GX2
Plextor PX-716SA DVD+-RW
ASUS 16x DVD-ROM
74 GB Western Digital Raptor hard drive
250 GB Western Digital 7200 RPM hard drive
Saitek Eclipse keyboard
Logitech MX-518 mouse
Alienware mouse pad from a dead Alienware laptop. Alienware sucks. Don't buy their crap.
Creative Inspire 5.1 speakers
Sun Microsystems 19 inch Flatscreen CRT monitor
Windows XP Professional x64-edition

The power supply is actually a recent addition as the OCZ PowerStream 520 committed suicide a week or so ago. She was originally built to sell on ebay, but I fell in love. She originally had two Nvidia 256 mb 9800 GTX's in SLI, but I sold them and bought the 1 gb 7950 GX2. There was also an X-Fi card, but I sold it too. Onboard sound card now.

This is Emily1.
The real Emily now uses her.
I built her also.
She is:
Apevia Case with built in 420 watt power supply
MSI RS480M2-IL Radeon Xpress 200 Micro-ATX motherboard
AMD 3700+ San Diego Core
Stock cooler (used to have a Zalman cooler, but it died when I swapped the cpu out to test a CPU from another computer)
1 GB Corsair DDR 400 CAS 2 RAM (The kind with activity LEDS)
PowerColor ATI X800XL with Zalman cooler and memory heatsinks
Creative Labs Audigy 2 Value sound card
Seagate Barracuda 80 Gb hard drive
Foxconn WLL-3350 WLAN card (Hence the antennae on top)
Microsoft InelliEye mouse
Logitech Keyboard
Hyundai 19" LCD monitor
Windows XP Professional

Anyway, if I win, the Real Emily will get Emily2, and my brother will get Emily1. I'll probably also add 2 more gigs of ram to the new machine, just for fun.

Here's the Real Emily, for comparison to the electronic ones.

I'll have to ask her about getting that panel installed. It might be interesting to see her gears going.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
