Video/Audio production student, 2d fighter fan(but not an expert in anyway), slightly average dude.
Currently gaming on:
Dreamcast
PS2
a semi bad-ass PC
PS3, *****!
Currently a force a nature with a force a nature but not using force a nature in Team Fortress 2.
Current games(an incentive to get me to update this damn profile more often):
PC
Team Fortress 2
Left 4 Dead (stop spawning a mile behind everyone when you're a boomer!!!)
Imagining myself playing BlazBlue
PS3
Street Fighter 4 (Dammit 'Gief, he's throwing a fireball, jump! JUMP!!!)
Prince of Persia
So american arcades won't be getting Street Fighter IV in arcades, you won't get the satisfaction of plunking a quarter on the cabinet to mark your spot in line but you'll get Cammy in the home console versions so you'll be able to sit at home and stare at her behind all day long. But there are still a few people who long for something new in arcades to distract them from the people driving themselves to heart attacks on DDR and various rhythm arcade games.
BlazBlue, the latest 2d fighter from Arc System Works of Guilty Gear fame(they also developed the recent arcade fighter Hokuto No Ken, Battle Fantasia, and Sengoku Basara X) is due to hit US arcades this week! A game with completely new characters drawn in highly detailed sprites to make the action slicker, they are twice the size of a sprite from guilty gear.
If you have a decent arcade in your area, check to see if they're getting it this week, and if you happen to see one in the DFW area (mainly close to arlington or hurst), let me know!
Here are some match vids that were recorded directly from the cabinet, also the opening.
I've alwyas assumed any arcade worth its salt will just import a cabinet if it isn't coming to America. The local arcade here in Austin got a SF4 cabinet when it came out, assuming the American one wouldn't actually come out, and it was a good call. I hope they get an american BB cabinet though.

I really hope this comes to consoles! The sprites look absolutely amazing!
Why don't they just skip the arcade and do a home port right away for the US?
that, KoFXII, and I guess SFIV will be awesome for me fightingwise.
Oh how glorious it is, on two huge flatscreen HD TVs
a dollar a game tho. :(
it looked pretty rad.
Also SFIV is in Australia too :D
This link may help you track down a SFIV machine near you. Good hunting :)
