I know if I got one that there would be penises drawn all over it.
I'm at a draw with MadCatz right now. On one hand my wired fightpad for the 360 works perfectly on the other my wireless one for the PS3 is a piece of shit. It constantly thinks I'm holding down a directional button (like when you would boot up a console with the stick/dpad pressed down).
I figured I just got a shitty one so I ordered a new one. If that one sucks, then thank god I just bid on a Sega Saturn USB controller for my PS3.
I love my sf4 TE. I want to change the art but Im afraid of hurting my baby :/
I will see this is Q4 then.
Would dry-erase markers work on these? It might be cool to doodle during loading screens and what not.
Madcatz has been my mortal enemy since I was a kid. When I was young (read: stupid), I trusted Madcatz on two separate occasions to give me a working controller. One time, the shitty glue on the PS Madcatz d-pad broke off, and I died during a really long intense boss fight. Awful.
Isn't the HRAP3 just as gooe ad the TE stick if it's modded with sanwa buttons and a octagonal gate?
@Diverse, yeah, Hraps are great.
But fuck octagonal gates :p
I wish Capcom went with Hori...
Horis will do good when they actually learn to switch their stick designs. Clunky piece of junk is big for no reason.
From the looks of it, seems everything will be the exact same as the SFIV TE sticks. Hopefully they're smart enough to keep the sanwa parts in (and i'm guessing not when they can produce shitty cheap ones like for the SE.)
@RAB, changing TE art is super easy.
Changing the art is easy, but getting replacement art is a different story. I'm waiting on a lasercut replacement clear cover with custom art to be shipped. Got it at this site. Who knows how it'll turn out though.
Hm...looks interesting, but I surprisingly have no need for it. I just got my second SFIV TE stick, so I'm set for arcade sticks for 360.
And as for people complaining about MadCatz: this is a very clear exception. This is pretty much the best stick you can buy for your 360, even better than a Hori stick, because the buttons are also Sanwa parts (Hori often uses their own buttons), they're very easy to mod, and it's...well, it's just really, really well-made. If these new non-SFIV sticks are exactly the same, minus some SFIV art, I can't help but recommend that you pick one of these up.
