Video/Audio production student, 2d fighter fan(but not an expert in anyway), slightly average dude.
Currently gaming on:
Dreamcast
PS2
a semi bad-ass PC
PS3, *****!
Currently a force a nature with a force a nature but not using force a nature in Team Fortress 2.
Current games(an incentive to get me to update this damn profile more often):
PC
Team Fortress 2
Left 4 Dead (stop spawning a mile behind everyone when you're a boomer!!!)
Imagining myself playing BlazBlue
PS3
Street Fighter 4 (Dammit 'Gief, he's throwing a fireball, jump! JUMP!!!)
Prince of Persia
BlazBlue is set to release in a tad over a week on the 30th(less if you're in japan, the 25th). It can't come soon enough, I spend most days scouring for match vids and such and game across these interesting vids.
Aksys released some videos to IGN showcasing the characters. For most people who have been following this game the interesting thing about these along with showing some new Astral Finishes would be the english voices. I suppose with Street Fighter 4 having done this also, having english voice options could possibly be turning into a trend. With this being an Arc System Works game you can expect the characters to be saying a bit more than their move names and talking during winposes. These characters will chatter quite a bit compared to SF4. I'm no huge anime nut so I'm not as violently allergic to english dubs as some so I'm hoping this turns out decent.
Noel is kind of what I would think she'd sound in english and apparently her stage music now has lyrics. Also a glimpse of Bang's voice, I can't wait to hear his english voice when he's bouncing all over the screen in furinkazan mode.
As with most fighting games that get english dubs I suppose it'll be a mixed bag, but there will always be the option of switching them to the original japanese voices which is always a good thing.
I'm fuckin PUMPED for this. I'm disappointed that even after I get it I won't be able to play it, as my 360 is 2,300 miles from my current location until next weekend.
I want this so badly, but I think I'll wait and see how it controls with the 360 controller, hopefully it won't be terrible. I have no money for an arcade stick.
I was thinking about getting the limited edition, but honestly 10 characters is not enough for me to do a full purchase. The CG, animation, combos, are F???ING super high quality, but im sure this game will quickly get on the pre-used section, so I can wait patiently.
I got my pre-order primed and ready. Between this and King of Fighters, these will be my first non-downloadable game purchases since Punch-Out.
Honestly, its been a kinda slow year as far as game purchases are concerned... but I'm super excited for this. I saw both the PS3 version and the X360 version at Fanimae last month and they both looked identical.
less characters = more balanced game = no MvC2 BS.
not like you'll be wanting to branch off so much characterwise as all 10 of them add different gameplay as it is.
@Grafkun
no....just no. If you really have to, buy a Hori EX2 as they're usually around 50 anywhere you go. playing any fighting game on a 360 controller is just torture.

Other than that, I can't wait.

so much buy gonna happen.
I really need to get a stick.
It would be cool if I could actually beat Yojimbo at a fighting game once or twice.
I beat him once in SF2THR with Zangief while he was Ken at 2 after midnight...
