I know this is a very tired subject, but it saddened me to see the trend of 'toughing up' Western box art continues:

The NA art isn't TERRIBLE, but it sure is immature in comparison to the rather dashing JP art. And I don't say that because it's Japanese therefore it's automatically better. I'm saying that because it simply IS better. The content, the placement, the colors - it's designed well. :)
Why can't publishers just leave things be?

I'm a hardcore American purchaser so I will be saddened by the lack of Japanese on my cover. Also, the lack of SRPG in my game.
American box art puts a lot of explosions or boobs on it. Not that the Japanese don't do that sometimes, but generally that's only when the game in question focuses on those things.
Surely no one could be annoyed at a different picture on the case.
Isn't the game and it's content much more important?
