this is such Bullshit! it was garbage when they did it with Team Fortress 2, and really fucking stupid when they did it with COD4, but this takes the cake being in that the whole game is designed to play as a PAIR!
I want to play it so bad but I want to try to boycott so that maybe developers will stop being lazy fucks and still take into account that some gamers still have siblings who might want to take part and heaven forbid real life friends who may actually come over and play a video game!
I mean I understand it's business and if they force Live play then your buddy has to get it too but at least give us the option!

I was just going on what Tycho had said today. Well I'm not going to hide anything, I already admitted that I was wrong.
But still, as ProfessorPew just confirmed, you need two live accounts to play local split screen and that is just stupid.
Yes it is horribly stupid. Like...it doesn't make sense because it is so stupid. I am no networking genius, but isn't connecting to to a network, whether its online of off, more or less the same exact thing? There is no extra coding, no extra utilities needed, nor is it HDD space needed. It just boggles the mind.
Wow. Two live accounts to play split screen? As Rooo and I have separate 360s, that's all not going to happen, unless he brings his 360 over, and I rent a copy.
Which I don't think I'm about to do.
