I remember the first time I wanted to play the PS3, plugged it in, and then had to do hours of system updates... oh, fun times.
Did another one today. For a while I had to do one every time I turned on the system, which admittedly was a few weeks apart. The most annoying part is having to agree to a user agreement every time you log onto the Warhawk servers...
So it really is like this... I guess they just want to be covered in case of whatever small thing might happen.
