As the months count down before the US/Canada release of an online game for the Wii. Nintendo still hasn't come clean and explained to the world how exactly their online framework functions.
Recent interviews with the producers of Next Level Games have added another layer of confusion and possibly a ray of hope for those hoping for a positive Wii online experience.
Infendo weighed in on it
yesterday, supposing if this could be some sort of Live/WFC style online, where you have a unique code *cough*gamertag*cough* number attached to the Mii. If you used this Mii name and picture for each online game, you get to keep the same code for every game. While this isn't ideal, it would mean you keep a single list of numbers for your favorite Wii online friends to add to each game. An ideal compromise if I ever saw one.
Is this going to be the exception or the rule, and why doesn't Nintendo clarify this, it would put a lot of fans at ease. Or send them to Redmond bearing pitchforks and torches just as easily.
I HAS A POST!
