Rather then copy and paste my blogs (something I shouldn't have done) to other places, I also post my artwork at several websites like Deviantart and Comicartfans.com. Art has been apart of life ever since I was five years old and that also the time I was introduced to videogames. My whole childhood consisted of drawing Mario, Sonic, Street Fighter and several other videogame characters. But in highschool I didn't bother with that stuff and really didn't do to much artwork during that time. However the last four year I started up again, and just last year I started posting my stuff onto the web.
Here is some artwork that I did after finishing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess....
I was going to draw Ganon but I really couldn't find any good photo reference for him until Brawl came out.
Today just finished another one, Cyborg Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 4.....
When drawing I usually start off with 9h shade pencil while doing the pre-shape lines and some shading. After that is done I finish off with darker pencils from the regular HB to 8B; furthermore, if I want the piece to be a little darker I would use charcoal.
Right now I just post my artwork at several places but I don't sell anything or make money doing this. At first I thought "Maybe this will get me a job in the industry", but right now I just posting artwork for the fun of it.
Though Flash or Gimp are two fairly horrible programs to doodle around in. I used to have aspirations of being a comic colorist, but I think the pay is probably too lousy.
