- Bomb-omb from Mario

Hopefully you all dig these as much as you have the rest of my crafts. I <3 you all!

These are all available on my Etsy Store.

Thanks guys!

Gamer Arts & Crafts: After the Craft Show and More

Woo.. so I was working on craft overtime for a good while after PAX and unfortunately haven't been around as much. Also, my computer decided to take a dump and makes horrifyingly loud noises and likes to shut itself off now. I have fans on the way though, so hopefully I'll be back to internet land full-time soon. Though, without the computer to distract me I've finally 100% completed LEGO Batman today. :D YAY!

So, since I haven't had as much time on the computer I've still been crafting up a storm. I have added a few things that I had left from the craft show including hats and some keychains. I am also working on some charms as well as new ornaments so there's a lot to come here in the near future.

This time I've added things not only relating to video games, but some TV shows and movies as well for the keychains. There's a lot of them so go ahead and check them out on my Etsy Store.

The hats I've added are:
- Domo-Kun Hats
- Black Kitty Hats
- Pumpkin Hats
- Batman Hats
- Ninja Hats

Some of those are just in time for Halloween, too! Thanks as always for being so supportive and I hope to have a bunch of surprises next update!

You can check out both the hats and keychains on my Etsy Store.

Thanks guys! <3

PAX 08: Part 2 - Because my memory failed me

Ok, so I'm not for sure how I forgot about this in my other post because it took my entire plane trip home to do, but I quickly doodled everyone who was in the giant Dtoid group picture! If you don't seem very distinguishable I apologize just remember it was done as quickly as possible and on a plane. XD But I thought you all might get a kick out of it, so here it is. It was drawn with reference to a picture I had taken on my camera.

Here's a bigger version.

If you can't find yourself in my drawing just take a look at the original and you should be about in the same location above. :)

Much love you guys! I can't wait for everyone's pictures to trickle in. The ones up so far are amazing!

PAX 08: The Greatest Weekend of My Life

WARNING: This blog is definitely graphic heavy. :D

Alright, so like a lot of you I just had the best weekend of my entire life. It was the first time I'd gotten to meet so many of you fellow Dtoiders that I've been wanting to meet for so long now. Everyone was so amazing and I can't get over how much I love you guys and didn't want it to end. Though thankfully it's the internet so we'll see each other around. :P

First I'll get the obligatory swag posting over with:

My Haul:

Pink Godzilla Goodies

El Rio Madre's Haul (a.k.a. My mom :P )

She's a rockin' Pac-Man fan, what can I say?

I have tons more pictures in the gallery here as well, so feel free to take a look.

Thankfully I got to get quite a few pictures with people, but unfortunately forgot to nab some with a couple of you.. *cough* Chad *cough* Dyson *cough* so I think I might have to magically come find you again sometime. And Dyson, I'm totally renting you out so you can give me another amazing hug to realign my spine.

I got the chance to give out quite a few presents at the event as well and I'm so glad everyone liked them. I wish I could have done one for everyone but I'm only one person you know. ;P

Everyone seemed to really enjoy their hats and I totally got a kick out of seeing you guys running around in them. It was so amazing!

Spot what's awesome about this picture! :D

My favorite cosplay of the show @.@ (Other than Fruit Fucker of course :D )

Man all of you were just so freaking fantastic and some I got to spend more time with than others and I apologize if I didn't get to talk to you too much but with so many people I easily get sidetracked.

To my main crew: Ceark, Suff0cat, Taumpy, Frobose (who better have a Dtoid name by now!) you guys are the best. I loved every minute of hanging out with you guys and wouldn't give it up for the world. I so seriously wanted to sneak into someone's suitcase and go back with them so the fun didn't have to end. I mean seriously, Mega Man 2 until 6:30 am. Fucking amazing!!!

I was so glad we got to chill at the concerts and hang out. It was a blast!

So thanks again to everyone who helped me have the best weekend of my life. I love you guys so much it's ridiculous and it's amazing to have a place to be myself.

Niero: words cannot express how thankful I am for everything you've done for us and it was the best pleasure of my life to finally get to meet you. Thanks to you I finally have friends that I can do everything from just sitting and chatting or run around a massive convention with or even play video games with. It's the one thing I'd never really had in my life until Destructoid and I'll never be able to thank you enough.

<3's everyone! See you next year!

P.S. I ALMOST FORGOT! Me, Suff0cat and Taumpytears went in together for a gift for Chad's birthday (even though it's early) and I got some video of him opening. Best day ever!

A Wild Box Appears! - E3 Swag I Choose You!

So today was an extremely rockin' day! I was just sitting here working and minding my own business when I remembered I should go check the mail. What do I find? Oh it was totally an amazing box from the Destructoid offices! :D

I immediately had to open it and was met face to face with something that made me squee harder than I ever have in my entire life. Seriously. Like I think I strained something.

BABY CHOCOBO!!!!!!!!!!
It's the cutest thing ever and it's so soft and fluffy and omgz I love it.

That's not all of course! This box was filled to the brim with absolute win!
Here's a list of all of the box's contents.

And after taking off the TN Games beanie I forgot to put it in the picture, so it's here too and is on my head in another pic.

1. "A Gamecock Taught Me To Yodel" shirt
2. Ghostbusters shirt
3. TN Games beanie
4. Baby Chocobo Plushie from Final Fantasy XI
5. Shirma keychain from Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales
6. Square Enix Members fan that says "I'm a fan." on the back. (I soooo lul'd at this!)
7. A booster pack of MapleStory cards
8. Legendary Game Preview & Graphic Novel Preview
9. 4 Cowgirl Moist Towelettes
10. Apple shaped stress ball from Novint
11. 2K Games Belt Buckle
12. Sketchbot card, sticker and pin ( So awesome! I love Sketchbot!)
13. Upper Deck lanyard
14. Mike Wilson for ESA President '08 button
15. Left 4 Dead mints
16. Zack & Wiki bell
17. 3 Ninjatown pins
18. pin
19. Mega Man II cellphone game card advertisement
20. Destructoid Stickers! :D

Everything is just so awesome I don't know where to start! Whoever packed this box is getting molested at PAX. I have a feeling Colette packed this one up for me though with the Square Enix love, SO BE PREPARED GIRLY! <3<3<3 I am curious as to where those Cowgirl towelettes came from though. XD Everything's so freaking amazing and fun I can't stop looking at all of it! The box smells nice and minty, as do the shirts, thanks to those mints so they're quite refreshing. :3

I'll have to decide what to put the Ninjatown pins on. They're too cute not to go on something, same with the Dtoid stickers.

I'm so thrilled with absolutely everything. I can't thank you all enough for sharing and sending it my way!

Thanks Dtoid Crew! I <3 ALL OF YOU!

A Thank You Post, and a Rockin' Gift From Down Under!

It's that time again to make a Thank You post! :D These are always my favorite as I'm always extremely appreciative for what you amazing people bless upon me and definitely want to show it.

First off, I want to thank Destructoid, Dyson and the contest sponsors, for holding the Overlord on PS3 contest. I absolutely loved Overlord on 360 so I was incredibly excited to find out I won a copy of the game! It was also really awesome of them to throw in a copy of GRiD as well, as I wanted to give it a shot. So massive thanks to everyone involved with this. They will definitely be very much enjoyed!

Also, an amazing package from a wonderful girl from Down Under arrived at my door today! The rockin' Fooliz sent me a B.A.L.E. shirt and it's AWWWWWEEEEESOOOOOOME! :D I will now proudly be able to strut my Christian Bale fangirl stuff along with the best of us at PAX. Thanks a ton, Liz, it's absolutely amazing!

Also, Equilibrium + BALE shirt = WIN!

Also, thanks to Suff0cat for helping me nab some SDCC exclusives since I couldn't afford to make it out there this year! :D   read

A Day in History: My Final Fantasy Collection Complete

Today is a very miraculous day in my gaming history. I have finally finished off my Final Fantasy collection. Now, these are only games that have been released in America, but I do plan to get the imports eventually. I've been collecting these for a loooooong time, so I'm very pleased to be able to say I'm finished for a while. It'll be nice to have a little bit extra money. :P

I wanted to go ahead and wait until today, because as most of you know Final Fantasy IV was released on DS today, which I can’t wait to play. :)

Now, you will also see games in this list that are not “Final Fantasy” games, but there is an explanation! I just so happened to own all of the games I had found on a list that included cameos of Final Fantasy characters, so I added them all as well.

Over at Final Fantasy Wikia this is what the list consisted of (yeah, some of them are a total stretch.):

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
-“The Wizzrobe enemy looks suspiciously like a Black Mage”

Tales of Symphonia
-“A man in the slums is looking for a flower seller. This is clearly a reference to Aerith from Final Fantasy VII.”

Super Smash Bros. Melee
-“Three of the random names that are chosen are: Vivi, Lulu and Odin.”

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
-“The Beam Sword item slightly resembles the Ultima Weapon from Final Fantasy VI. It also grows longer when it does more damage, though it grows longer with smash attacks, not the users HP.”

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations
-“During the last case, after being compared to a spoon stirring a cup of coffee, the judge exclaims, ‘I’m a spoon!? I’m no spoony bard, I’ll have you know!” This is a reference to the famous quote by Tellah in Final Fantasy IV.”

Mario Hoops 3-on-3
-“Ninja, White Mage, Black Mage, Moogle and Cactuar are unlockable playable characters. This is the first time Mario is playable with Final Fantasy characters. Also, there’s a Bomb going around at Bowser Castle Court, and a Chocobo as basket in the Airship Court.”

Secret of Evermore
-“The game features several cameos by Final Fantasy characters, namely:
- Cecil from Final Fantasy IV as a secret NPC
- Terra, Locke, Strago, Mog and Umaro, all from Final Fantasy VI standing in the crowd at the coliseum
- An item called the ‘Chocobo’s Egg’ ”

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
-“The playable characters have vague likenesses to Final Fantasy job classes
- Smithy has four Elemental Fiends, similar to Final Fantasy I, IV and IX.
- Bahamut makes an appearance as a boss in Bowser’s Keep as “Bahamutt”
- Various FFVI enemies also appear, including CzarDragon, which was dummied out of the game, and Zombone, both as bosses. The Myconid enemy appears later in FFIX.
- Culex, claims to be a dark knight which would imply he was from the FFIV universe (although never actually appeared.) The battle music playing during the battle is the FFIV boss battle music. He is protected by the four elemental crystals from FFIV and FFV. When you defeat him the traditional “Victory Fanfare” is played. His parting words are ‘in another life, another game, he and the player may have been mortal enemies.’ ”

Also, both my copies of FFVII: Advent Children and FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus are autographed to me by the amazing voice actor, Steve Blum. He played Vincent, my favorite character in Final Fantasy VII.

There are a ton of pictures down in the gallery so check them out if you want to get a closer look :D

Well now I leave you all with a majorly massive smile of accomplishment. I shall now go to see how this new Final Fantasy IV remake is.

Later Taters! <3

Gamer Arts & Crafts: Star Power and a Store Update

Hello again everyone! It's that time again! I've been a very busy bee over the weekend trying to come up with something new and awesome, as well as restock my store again with some of the favorites. After working all weekend I've finally got a bit of a substantial update.

First I'll start off by saying that the old favorites that have been put back in stock are:
Parappa Hat
Slime Hat
and the Iceman Hat is still available

Now for the new and exciting hat. I totally haven't smiled so big upon finishing a hat for a looong time until I got to this one.

Also bringing back a viewing of it being worn since it's kind of an odd shape. Just wanted to show you that it looks much better when on than it does sitting on the floor. :)

Well as always, thank you all for your support! You guys are amazing! Those hats from last time went out so fast it was ridiculous! I <3 you guys!

As always they are available at my Etsy Store.

Thanks again and see ya next time!

Gamer Arts & Crafts: Mega Man Hats!

Hello all! In celebration of Mega Man 9 coming our way, what better way to celebrate than to come up with some new hats? I've dedicated my most recent hats to some of my favorite bosses in previous Mega Man games. I also wanted to thank Capcom-Unity for promoting my Okami Amaterasu hat as well.

And without further ado...

and my personal favorite...

All of the hats are available on my Etsy Store now, except for the Cutman hat. He was already previously claimed.. but you never know.. it might show up somewhere soon!

Best Day EVER! -- A Major Thank You to Ceark!

This is the box that started the best day ever!

So I went upstairs just a few minutes ago to check the mail, and what sat there waiting for me? OH! A giant FedEX box! :D Of course, as with every time a giant box awaits me at the door I immediately became overwhelmed with excitement and quickly had to go open it.

What awaited me inside was what has made this the BEST DAY EVER! Some of you will remember the contest that Ceark had previously hosted for taking a sequential photo and having people guess what game you were depicting? Well I won for the girls, and he had posted the artwork after he had finished it in his blog. It was the most amazing and beautiful thing EVER!

The print now rests inside my house, and I am soooo freaking ecstatic right now I can't stand it! I took a couple pictures to show but I didn't want to take the wrapping off of the one so that it didn't get scratched before I got a frame for them.

So thank you soooooo soooo sooo much, Ceark! I will get frames immediately and cherish it forever! I love it to death! <3 <3 <3 <3
