What happens when those who've grown up on Hollywood war movies and graphic video games are sent to the frontline?

"It's the ultimate rush -- you're going into the fight with a good song playing in the background," states one soldier. This is a war fought by the first playstation generation. As Rolling Stones journalist Evan Wright explains: "One thing about them is they kill very well in Iraq."

I was looking through Youtube and this video happened to catch my eye. It explains how this is the first generation that grew up with video games such as playstation, gangster rap and heavy metal, increasingly violent films, and the acess to information that you have on the internet. It's our culture and how it assimilated into the American war machine.

The director explains how it's a generation like no other before that has entered the war. He even compares them to that of the generation that fought in Vietnam who "lost their innocence in the jungles of Southeast Asia" well this generation lost it before they were deployed.

They killed very well in Iraq...

So what are your thoughts and views on this?
