What have I been doing? Since Sunday I've been staying with my girlfriend. Internet community stuff takes a backseat. Sorry Destructoid. Here are some things I wanted to sneak in at the bottom of an article, but its long enough to warren its own cblog. Throughout this blog and others I do up here, all random pictures will now be of my girlfriend's new puppy.



My girlfriend now has a puppy. A dachshund to be more precise. If you've not idea what that is, as I did four days ago, its a weenie dog. The translation means "Badger Hound." I really don't see this dog hunting badgers. It's the sweetest puppy ever. It only feels like playing in short bursts then wants to sleep. We've been trying to house train it, but that is proving more difficult than I originally thought it would be. The puppy, named Abby, likes to hide under the bed or behind the couch, and I'm constantly on poop watch. A few days ago my girlfriend bought a leesh and my attempt to walk the dog with in the parking lot was cut short when the puppy got loose ran off under cars and around hedges. Finally we got the back. Pure luck. Today was her first walk on the leash. Everywhere the dog went it had to sniff around as if to find that perfect spot to go doo doo.



Apologies to anyone who was anxious to read more new Old School Games articles. Specifically the two that I mentioned were coming up. I had Rock N Roll Racing finished, with pictures all placed and everything, then my own human error screwed it up. I'm too frustrated to re-write it anytime soon. Mega Man 2 I'm eager to write about, and will do so within the next few days. I just don't have the time like I did last week to do a new game every day. Maybe once a week.



Also unrelated to anything, I've been given a new microphone (best girlfriend ever!) for the xbox. Stupidly I didn't bring the right cord with me and had to have someone mail it too me up here, so that explains why I've not been spotted playing xbox live. Not that I play it as much when I'm here anyway. Sorry I'm not posting as many sarcastic comments as usual. I like spending time with my girlfriend and when she's not here, I'm playing her Super Nintendo or Wii.



Most of my gaming has been super nintendo or spore. I did finally buy Braid and played through the first world and a half. Fun game. Rock & Roll Racing I played a little to help with my now lost article. I'll sum it up as " 16-bit. Fun racing. Blizzard made it." Another game, U.N. Squadron has been getting a lot of play from me. I plan on playing the wii Strongbad game soon as well too. The wii's been used as a gamecube for me, as I've a game called Alien Hominid on it that is one of my favorite games. Its not quite been five years (the amount of time it takes to reflect on a game and call it classic) but I must say its a really good game. Two player mode is great. We almost made it to the Area 51 world together and it was amazing. Too bad it won't work in my xbox and unlock the alien in Castle Crashers.
