1) Blu Rays - I don't care about quality. I watch you tube all the time and its not ten dollars more expensive. Plus, I already soaked money into my collection of DVDS.
2) Price - Price is always an issue. I don't care if the thing was two hundred dollars, I'd still feel bad about buying it. I hate spending money. 3) I have to buy a headset to talk. It's free to play online, but no one talks to anyone. And if you do want to talk to someone that you might know, you need a headset that's not cheap. I'm on headset 3 on the xbox, as I'm five years old and can take care of nothing.
4) Games I wanted to play are on 360. Sorry, but I have Dead Rising on the 360. As soon as I saw that, the console wars were over. I'm not the only one either. I just had to kill zombies in that game. As many as I possibly could. This isn't a reason anymore, but it was the main reason. Besides price. 5) Home. Home is the obnoxious to me. For some reason, Second Life still exists and is also obnoxious to me. The only fun to be had in something like that is disrupting it. And even then, thats more fun to read about online than actually watch. The xbox is getting worse because of Home and Miis. 6) Games I own, I'll have to buy again to play against people who only have a PS3. Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter 2 I'll re-buy, if only to fight against a certain Samurai. 7) I just want to mention Blu Ray again. How stupid I find HD stuff in general. It's just expensive and glossy for no reason. I don't like that kind of detail. I don't want to see special effects that close, I'll see how video game like spider-man is. Yes, in Spider-man 3 he transforms to a video game cutscene. The first two weren't as horrible with that, some places in two it was, but three was the worst with that. I want a guy in a suit fighting another guy in a suit. Why can't movies be good? And video games too. Why do I have to buy another TV just to see shit "the way it was meant to" and then I have to research what I'm buying. 1080 720, what the fuck does that mean? I almost bought a 200 dollar HD set, but then I saw how big it was. My penis actually wiggled around and spoke "That's smaller than me, what's the matter with you?" Then made anothe refrence to a recent movie, Observe and Report. That was a movie you should see, because it doesn't take out a full chapter about Roshach's history and change what little it left in. 8) I know a few more people on xbox. Char Azanable, a guy I met on Destructoid is my good friend now. I talk to him and play games with him at every chance. And we play a lot of games together. Castle Crashers, Street Fighter, and anything else we can get two player mode on. I also host friday night fights, or used to. So I have a lot of people from here on my friends list. My nights off work I'm usually grinding levels on one TV, then on the xbox TV I'm playing fighting games. With a PS3 I need a third TV. The third TV that was supposed to be for the genesis.
9) Qore costs money to be advertised to? Really? 10) Backwards compatible? Who cares? I just bought maybe a thousand dollars worth of PS2 games. Maybe less, maybe more, I don't want to know really. I liked buying games every week. First I got games I wanted, like Onimusha. Easy stuff to find. Then I got stuff I had heard about, like Silent Hill 2 & 3 and Okami. Gradius V, Suikoden 4 & 5. Really just playing catch up with stuff like Neo Contra. Then I got into cocaine with the Shin Megami stuff. I own two copies of Persona 3. I own two copies, of it. Two. Then after that, I got every other Shin Megami Game. Some more expensive than others, but I own them all now. And then, then I discovered heroin. I didn't know what the words "video game" or "hardcore" really meant until I played Disgaea. These games will even weed out people who like video games, they're not for everyone. They're anime inspired. They're RPGs, but, I don't want to explain AGAIN. There are several of those, of which I own them all, but might buy a second time to find the boxes. I've bought at least forty games this year, all on PS2. And my new PS3 won't be able to play them. [Update] Seems I started something. And I'm debating buying a PS3 today.

That is to say, it's not worth it for everyone, but I've seemed to luck out with it. It takes a while to download each issue, and I spend less time with it installed than it takes to download, but it often has a sort of behind the scenes look at game developing which I enjoy.
