10) Noby Noby Boy - You can eat your own ass.
9) The promise of tomorrow. The PS3 might not be amazing today, for some people, but maybe tomorrow it will have something no one else has. Like God of War. Or a Atlus RPGs. Or uh, other games. I can't think of any right now, but I will later.
8) Brown-Town himself is a playstation owner. I for one can't wait to play on the same console as him. Even if he's not playing Disgaa 3 or anything remotely like it. Still the idea that he could talk me into a sports game, and then play it with him, why, that's reason enough.
7) Castlevania Chronicles! - I always wanted to buy this. It's a remake of Castlevania on PS1. Probably hasn't aged well, but its five dollars. Despite being able to download it for free, right over there. Just type into google, PS1 .iso and you'll at least figure something like that out. The idea that I can buy that and then put it on my PSP, something others can do for free that I've not figured out how to yet, is appealing to me. Suikoden I've already played to death, but I would almost take it as well. Castlevania Chronicles is my thing though. Castlevania's amazing and I just want it.
6) Yakuza 3 might possibly be out in english. And Yakuza 2.5 that no one ever talks about. There are two games out that I really, really want. Thanks internet. In the old days of the super nintendo, I never knew about the Mystical Ninja sequels that weren't released. Now I know. And I'm sad. Yakuza 1 & 2 are so amazing. In every way that a game can be for me. I just want Yakuza with samurais and Yakuza 3 to be out in english. And they're only on PS3.
5) Killzone 2 - I have Killzone on PSP. I like it. Best cover system I think I've seen, and its just a crouch button. But really, I don't care about the story at all. I can only assume the shooting and stuff is the same in the PS2 one, which I will buy soon. What I hear though, the multiplayer is great enough to play. So if I'm not busy with everything else that I'm going to be busy with, I can play this. FOR FREE ONLINE.
4) Trico - Even if the creature dies, which it probably is going to, this still looks like something I want to play. Even without any combat in the videos, the exploration and giant monster are enough for me. I like monsters. I like splorin. This isn't out yet, but its got me hooked enough to mention.
3) Disgaea 3 - This is the first that popped into my mind. Disgaea is amazing. And every other game that I've played that's like it is also amazing. Despite not being some people's thing, it is totally my thing. I love it. I love battles. I love chess. I love stats. I love pornography. I love it. It has DLC that I have to buy as well, I love buying things. The DLC is apparently every character from all the games from the company. Even if I have to beat the game once to get all that available, that's still enough for me to buy it.
2) Petal Rear Squalid Door apparently isn't coming to the xbox, despite what some awesome cougars might tell you. But it is on playstation 3. I played it for six hours and it was glorious. The amount of guns and options for customization means near limitless hours of murder. And I barely got into the storyline. It has one. It may or may not tie things up for the previous twenty year story that I may or may not have been following since the days of the Nintendo and its "I feel asleep" dialog.
1) Yojimbo. Mr. Playstation has been talking about his platform for so long. He makes this thing sound like if you're not on the Playstation, you're nothing. Worthless. That a real man would play it. And watch Blu Rays. Well September 1st, I'll welcome a PS3 into my home. And I would consider buying BOTH street fighters I already own, just to play him. If that's not reason to play, I don't know what is.
you should create a psn account like right now and give us your id so that when you finally get your ps3 you'll have lots of friend invites.
He really likes Animal Crossing. And from what I hear in the background, his kids are aspiring to be Pokemon Masters.
YOJIMBO, YOU TELL YOUR KIDS THAT IF THEY AINT EV TRAINING, PREPARE TO HAVE THEIR DREAMS BROKEN. THIS IS FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
ALSO, BUBBEFETT.
Fuck yeah.
You promise?
I'm dead set on it.
Technically, I started it. Random just gave me the inspiration.
