I'm confused over people who loathe review scores.
Why not just read the review, and judge it based on it's own merits? Ignore the score.
A lot of people like scores: the difference is, if there's no review score, the score fans are screwed, but you (a score hater) can just pretend it's not there.

I hate review scores too, but only because I hate giving them out.
This blog is extremely disappointing.

If there were no review scores, how could web sites generate traffic?
I dislike it when sites give out arbitrary review scores that somehow go to the hundredths.... I give this game a score of 8.364 out of 10! What exactly constitutes a .004 in terms of gameplay, audio, or graphics?....
