My own writing reflects the opinion of every corporation, company, individual, monsters, and gods.

Coming soon as an actual book you can buy a physical copy of to have sitting out on a table or as a digital download for your electronic book reader, The Bonerquest. The premise of the novel is all about a wizard. He wants to rule the world. He also thinks he might be a homosexual as well. The book has wars, sadism, and nudity repeated throughout the story. If that sounds interesting, hopefully you'll buy a copy when I'm done with it.

Will you accept The Bonerquest?

All I Want From E3
randombullseye | 6:24 PM on 07.08.2008 4 comments

Every website seems to be predicting games and going on and on about what they expect at E3 and what big announcements there are. There's only one game I really want info on. Would you like to know more?

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is at the absolute top of my list. There's lots of other games coming out, but I'm a marvel zombie at my inner core. The x-men legends series have all been some great beat em ups. News on the new game has been really scarce, I read that it was going to be set in the Civil War event. Wikipedia has a list of "confirmed" characters, but there is no information on the game. Its not innovative and it the games use stories from the comics, but dammit, I love marvel. I love beat em ups with light RPG elements. The two combined are a perfect mix. X-Men Legends 1 & 2 were great, but Marvel Alliance really nailed it. It was an awesome game that the more I talk about, the more I want to play again.

I'm so steamed that I bought the regular xbox version (at full price too) instead of waiting six months to buy the 360 version when I got the new console. Its one of my favorite games to play, but its not backwards compatible. I keep telling myself "just buy the 360 version." But then I say "well the gold edition has even more characters than the regular one! Wait until you find it as cheap as possible!" I'm also scared that if I just use the microsoft points to buy the extra guys my console could die one day and I'll lose them forever. Also of concern is getting the better deal and longevity. In ten years would the downloaded content still work? What if I have to re-download it? Am I the only one left that likes to KEEP their games? I played the xbox version to death, got all the costumes, got all characters, beat it many many times. So buying the same game again just with a few extra characters seems silly. At the same time, I love guys who missed the cut in that version like Moon Knight, Hawkeye and of course The Hulk. If I see the gold version for less than twenty bucks, I'll probably cave in and get it. Otherwise, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next game and hoping they put as many characters in as they can. I don't even care if they do clone characters, just some minor statistical differences and I'm happy.

One other marvel game I hope is there is The Punisher 2. They really did a decent job of taking cool scenes and characters from the comics and putting them playable. Unlike the movie, the game is more like the comics: a Vietnam veteran waging war on crime. Its a basic 3rd person shooter that has a few cool features: interrogating bad guys, slow-motion mode, a quick kill button, lots of different guns to use, and oh yeah The Punisher. Its nothing we haven't seen before in Max Payne, but for 20 bucks (and probably cheaper now) you can't find a better use of a comic book license in a video game. I'd love them to announce another one, but I would doubt it. Volition seems to be working on Saints Row 2 and that new Red Faction, so who knows. Interestingly, its backwards compatible and every bit as awesome now as it was when I first bought it.

I'm sure there will be lots of games at E3 worth hearing about, but for me its all about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and that's all I'm really looking for. Anything else is icing. I already have a good idea of what games I want to play in the next few months. I could list off lots and lots of "maybe we'll see this" or "maybe we might see that" but really, I just want more marvel alliance. The new Spider-man game looks interesting, but I don't care to wait until comic con to hear more about it. Marvel Alliance 2 is what I want to see. I also want to see more of the Juggernaut in video games.

Am I getting better structurally with these blog posts? Did I put in enough pictures? Am I giving out information without hitting you with a wall of text? Also cocks? Does anyone play marvel alliance on xbox live? I'd love to play it online with some other people. Are the gold characters even worth getting?

You've done a great job with this blog Random, I liked your last one but this is miles better, keep up the good work!!
I also would like a new Punisher game, the last one was truly good old fasioned fun, not groundbreaking, but bloody, cool, gory and kick-ass. Let's hope they do have new Ultimate allaince games, the version on the ps3/360 was SHIT, but I liked the xbox/ps2 one.

I doubt it's going to get much cheaper than it is now, unless someone trades it in at a Gamespot or something. Also, your DLC is tied to your XBL account, so if you lose the system you can always redownload it for free with your gamertag. Just get the Platinum edition, has all the extra characters plus a bonus DVD, and it's the same price as the Gold.
