Was over at GT.com and saw this lil comment i think it makes some very good points about those people screaming furry every time they see a awesome game like dust.

When I was talking about design, I meant skin color, skin type, and additional extremities, such as wings or a tail of whatever sort.
A human can't have scales as skin. and it can not have wings. That would make them anthopomorphic characters. The only thing that makes people yell FURRY!11!!! is the moment they see a character have a snout instead of a human nose. Cause there isn't much of fur visible in most styles anyway. What gives the main character away are the face and the tail, but that's about it.
Now I bet - if it did have a nose, no one would bloody complain. It's ridiculous. Anthropomorphic characters have so many possible varieties, remember Disney's Robin Hood? Now, if those characters had been humanoid, it would have been boring. Cause being anthros, you can give them a distinct appareance and a fitting personality according to their...well, species. Most species come with certain abilities that a human character simply isn't capable of.
Combining the special appearances and abilities of animals with the intelligence and personality of humans - This concept worked really well, and always will.

...also, humans -can- run on all fours, and it works, like Disney mannaged to display in their Tarzan adaptation.

...and, how can you tell people want to copulate with animals? o_o;;
