Starting tomorrow, there will be a total of five new songs available.
They are:

"Attack" - 30 Seconds To Mars (from 2005's A Beautiful Lie)
"The Kill" - 30 Seconds To Mars (from 2005's A Beautiful Lie)
"Dirty Little Secret" - All-American Rejects (from 2005's Move Along)
"Move Along" - All-American Rejects (from 2005's Move Along)
"Song With A Mission" - The Sounds (from 2006's Dying To Say This To
You)

Is it just these new songs at the lowered price point, or are old ones reduced for the holidays as well?

ugh. A little disappointing as far as song selection. At least they're actually putting some stuff out there for a $1 though.

Ugh, I feel like an epic failure for saying this, but I'll probably download the All-American Rejects songs because my little brothers will want to play them

I'm all over that. I like 30 Seconds to Mars. I was wondering what kind of goodies Harmonix would give us this year. Technically, they didn't give us anything though, but it's the thought that counts... Right...?

Just heard some 30 Seconds to Mars after I read this announcement. I think I might grab those 2 songs.

The Sounds is the only decent band there and they only get one song? Lame.

I was expecting something better, well, I mean something I liked =(.

Anyway, last friday I took Rock Band to a party and a lot of people asked if it had any 30 secs to mars so I guess it might not be that bad.

And well... I'm addicted to Rock Band... so for that price I'll probably get them all.

Well at least I was right about it being shitty DLC. At any rate, this is a big disappointment as since it is the holidays and most gamers will be receiving Rock Band as a Christmas gift. There should at least maybe a couple of classic songs on there.

You just broke Christmas.

Damn, when are they gonna add some good stuff. Right now the only song I really like on Rock Band is Ballroom Blitz.

its not horrible, but not amazing... but you have to say to yourself, as long its they don't release any creed or nickleback, we will be ok

Considered those songs bought by me. I like 30 seconds to Mars, and my wife likes those other songs. for a couple bucks, definitely worth it.

Sleepingagain: I have to admit this.. and I know I shouldn't.. but if they release "Dance through the night" by the lead singer of nickleback and Santana.. I would buy it w/o question.

C'mon guys even if you don't like this crap you gotta admire the .99 price. Its good to give lesser known artists exposure as long as you price it as such (LOOKING AT YOU ACTIVISION)

Ub3rSlug, just these songs for a limited time.
I may pick these up because I like the Sounds and it will be nice to let someone else sing for a change.

While I am not a big fan of these bands, the presumption that you make with that statement reeks of stupidity.
Emo as a sub-genre has bright spots like Brand New and Thursday and its share of weakpoints just like every sub-genre of music.
I would prefer that anti-gay remarks would not be`used in my blog.
Thank you.

I actually don't mind The All-American Rejects that much. I blame Burnout Revenge for playing "Top of the World" so much. I downloaded the CD once and aside from that song, "Move Along" and "Dirty Little Secret" were definitely the only ones I cared much for.

The $1 price is easily enough to make me buy all of these songs, regardless.
