Yo East Coast, where you at?

Hello, fellow D-toiders, my name is Andrew and I reside in New York City. It has been such an amazing experience being a part of this wonderful community. From my activities as a host of the Friday Night Fight events to becoming one of the community members responsible for handling the Destructoid NY group, coordinating East Coast meetups to helping the PAX meetup group, I have loved every minute of my time spent with this community.

Please hang out with other Dtoid members whether it would on the main site chat to your local Dtoid group. It can be life changing, trust me on that.

This is the commercial that will be airing to promote the upcoming release of SSBB for the Wii on those television programs everyone talks about.

Unfortunately, it is a sign that Nintendo's American advertising group just isn't what it used to be.

I don't think anyone can dispute the original SSB commercial being one of the best video game commercials ever. 10 year old me loved that one.

Alas, this is what we get from NOA when they decide to leave behind their former, mascot-oriented marketing and attempt this blanket "Wii would like to play" theme. Personally it pisses me off, because there are just some games that can't be enjoyed by "all ages". Would I enjoy it if my grandfather started playing Smash Bros.? Of course! It'd be hilarious. Will it ever happen? Never.
