The only issue I see is that the amount of people who own Wii's vs. the amount of people who are aware of Sam and Max and the awesome therein is a rather poor ratio. The episodic nature of the game seems more suited for XBL or PSN, where a storage medium is available.
It would be pretty cool to see a new Sam and Max installment every month at retail (on a disc no less!), and MSRP at 9.99.
IT would be an interesting experiment. And it could get those, "casuals", suckered into playing niche titles.
