The problem with Japanese bands is that not every RockBand owner can sing in Japanese.
That being said, some Bump of Chicken would be great, since it's fun to sing.

It would rock to get some good, not trend-of-the-moment Jrock in the game. My vote goes for The Pillows, personally.
I don't think a Language is a problem. Phonetically Japanese isn't impossibly hard, but I say this while being a Hispanic American, so my Spanish accent could help me.
I really don't care if its the same rock songs I hear in most Japanese rhythm games. As we all know, I'm kind of a sucker for stuff thats Japan.
I would love to see L'Arc~en~Ciel and The Pillows, and mix it up a bit with Saber Tiger.
It's touring Japanese? Also, that song would be awesome on Rock Band.

Not really...How are you (as someone that may not know Japanese) going to interpret Japanese characters on the text line? Is there going to be phonetic translations on the text line instead?
Unless you know the language you can't properly interpret the text on the screen and pronounce properly (not that you need to). I didn't like the German song this week because when I play it with friends, we just hum the song into the mic because we don't know German.

It's called Roomaji. English characters spelling out the words phonetically. Like saying, "Biiru wa doko desu ka?" or "Asoko wa kimi no biiru desu yo!" (Where is beer? That is my beer!)
2nd the Maximum no Hormone. Also, would love me some Asian Kung Fu Generation. I mean come on they're the Japanese Weezer, except they're still together.

Beat Crusaders maybe? Just about all their songs are english and you get a break if you're too lazy to learn a bit of the Japa barrier.
